June Favourites

Here I am with my first ever monthly favourites: keep reading to discover what I've been loving in the last month!

L'Oreal Paris Nude Magique Eau de Teint, L'Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes So Couture, Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Clinical Clearing Gel, Benefit Rockateur, Elizabeth Arden eye pencil

L'Oreal Paris Nude Magique Eau de Teint
"Eau de Teint" is really the best way to describe this foundation. It's incredibly light on the skin, and when you blend it in feels like you're putting a veil on your skin. It still covers some imperfections, and the overall effect it's somewhat of a light to medium coverage. It lasts all day with a light dusting of powder on top, and it's perfect for the warmer months when lightness is a must.

L'Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes So Couture
I better stop talking about this, what do you think? Well, I've started using another mascara now so I guess you won't be hearing about this one for a while! I've written a full review here, but just to sum it up: it gives volume, lenght and definition and can be built up without clumps if desired. Perfection!

Benefit Rockateur
This blush is a recent discovery for me, a June one in fact! I've heard about it since it came out, swatched in store a few times but never bought it. Then one day I decided it was time to try a Benefit blush (the only boxed powder I had was Hoola bronzer) and I'm so glad I did... It has a lovely sheen that isn't glittery or even shimmery in the slightest, it's foolproof to apply and it looks incredibly beautiful and natural.

Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Smoky Eyes Pencil (Smoky Black)
This is a good all-rounder. It lasts well on the waterline, even the upper one, can be used to write a precise line on the lash line, or can be smudged out (the smudger on the other end is pretty good) on the upper or lower lash line for a more smokey look. I firs saw it in this feline flick tutorial by Charlotte Tilbury: go watch it if you haven't already!

Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Clearing Gel
One day in the middle of June a breakout like I haven't had in years started to appear on my chin. I ran to Sephora to buy this new product that I had seen around in the last few weeks... And it worked. Two days of local application after my toner in place of serum, morning and night, and the monster went away. I was shocked! It feels a bit like putting vodka or something on your face for the strong alcohol smell, but it doesn't dry out my skin at all. Thumbs up!

What have you been loving this month?

L'Oreal Paris Nude Magique Eau de Teint, L'Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes So Couture, Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Clinical Clearing Gel, Benefit Rockateur, Elizabeth Arden eye pencil

L’Oreal Paris Nude Magique Eau de Teint

L’Oreal Paris Volume Milioni di Ciglia So Couture

Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Smoky Eyes Pencil (Smoky Black)

Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Clearing Gel
Approvato!
